Disease control challenge

Some rusts are becoming a serious threat to cereal crops in Eastern Canada. Three species are found in cereal fields – stripe rust, leaf rust and stem rust. Leaf rust is the most common and stripe rust has been increasing in incidence in recent years. The earlier in the season a rust infection takes place, the bigger the impact these diseases will have on crop performance.

Nufarm solution

Nufarm Propiconazole delivers broad-spectrum, curative and preventative activity to control a range of rusts in cereal crops, including stripe rust. A Group 3 fungicide, Propiconazole can be applied early and in combination with herbicides to control rusts and other important diseases. Propiconazole can be safely mixed with all Nufarm cereal herbicides, and leads the industry with tank-mix flexibility and crop safety.

  • Mixes safely with all Nufarm cereal herbicides
