Nufarm is proud to announce the arrival of Carnadine® – a new broad spectrum insecticide with a sustainable approach.
Set to make pest and resistance management easier and more sustainable for farmers, our new insecticide Carnadine is approved for use on a wide range of crops. The liquid formulation is highly effective against a broad spectrum of pests, including chewing and sucking varieties in oil seed rape, fruit and vegetable production.
Our Carnadine formulation is based on Acetamiprid which has recently been relisted by EU authorities for 15 years, classified as a low-risk substance. Registrations have been granted in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Poland, and the product is awaiting approval in Bulgaria and Slovakia.
Carnadine, has big advantages over other insecticides by acting systematically throughout the whole plant, rather than just the parts that come into contact with the product. While Carnadine is uniquely positioned as the best solution for combatting pests, such as coddling moth in pome fruits, the real game changer is that it’s also soft on beneficials, such as honey bees.
An essential tool in integrated pest and resistance management methods, Carnadine is the sustainable insecticide solution farmers have been waiting for.
Here our local technical expert, Stefan Schiller, explains the importance of Carnadine as an option in the market.
