Morrisville, NC (June 25, 2025) – Nufarm Range and Pasture Solutions is pleased to announce the recipients of scholarships awarded in the 2025 Grassmanship Scholarship Program, including one $5,000 and four $1,000 scholarships provided to current and incoming college agriculture students.

While there were hundreds of applicants with a passion for agriculture, these selected students truly embody the concept of Grassmanship through plans, aspirations and innovative ideas that will positively impact tomorrow’s land management practices. Nufarm recognizes the importance of investing in students who will contribute to the sustainability and success of agriculture for years to come.

“We received over 300 incredible applications this year, it is exciting to see the talent coming into the agriculture industry”, said Kevin Ashley, Communications Manager with Nufarm. “The high caliber and excellence of the applicants made it both a challenge and a pleasure to award the recipients of the five scholarships. Meet the recipients:

$5,000 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

Teagan Erbele

Teagan lives in North Dakota and attends North Dakota State University. With plans to graduate in 2028, Teagan is studying Agriculture Education and Animal Sciences.

 

$1,000 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Erick Sanchez

Erick lives in New Mexico and attends New Mexico State University. With plans to graduate in 2026, Erick is studying General Agriculture.

Sydney Schilling

Sydney lives in Iowa and attends Iowa State University. With plans to graduate in 2027, Sydney is studying Agricultural Studies.

Trell Amoss

Trell lives in Iowa and attends Oklahoma State University. With plans to graduate in 2027, Trell is studying Agribusiness.

Hazel Fuqua

Hazel lives in Oregon and attends Oregon State University. With plans to graduate in 2027, Hazel is studying Agricultural Science.
