Niamh grew up in Perth, Western Australia before taking time off after high school to travel and live overseas. Throughout her time abroad she developed a passion for environmental sustainability and food security which led her to completing a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University.
Niamh spent two semesters of this degree on an exchange program in Saskatchewan, Canada, where she broadened her interest and understanding of different agricultural systems and processes. Niamh worked on a vegetable farm, sheep farm and in a university laboratory throughout her degree to gain experience and awareness of different roles within the agricultural industry. Prior to Nufarm, Niamh worked as a Field Operations Engineer at the Green-on-Green application technology business, Bilberry.
