As the weather warms up, everyone is getting ready to tackle spring weed control. We caught up with Paul Fuhr, Nufarm territory manager in northwest Saskatchewan to talk about one of the questions he’s been getting from growers in his area – what’s the difference between CONQUER® and CONQUER II?
Paul breaks down the differences between these two pre-seed burndown herbicides that can be used ahead of canola and a number of other crops for non-residual control of tough broadleaf weeds including cleavers (Group 2- and glyphosate-resistant biotypes), kochia (Group 2-, 4- and glyphosate-resistant biotypes) and volunteer canola.
“New for 2020, CONQUER II is now in a convenient all-in-one formulation with two active ingredients, pyraflufen (Group 14) and bromoxynil (Group 6) that add power to glyphosate and put multiple modes of action in the sprayer tank,” says Paul.
Take a few minutes to hear more from Paul about putting CONQUER and CONQUER II to work this spring.
