Calgary, AB [April 21, 2020] – DiPel 2X DF biological insecticide is now approved for an extended shelf life of 36 months, up from the previous shelf life of 24 months.
DiPel 2X DF is OMRI Listed® for organic crop protection. This means that growers can confidently get effective protection against devastating insects with minimal environmental impact. DiPel 2X DF protects greenhouse and nursery crops, including edibles, against more than 30 species of insects and worm larvae.
“With the extended shelf life now approved for DiPel we can offer even greater flexibility than before.” said Jason Fausey, Nufarm director of Technical Services. “This makes planning for damaging pests easier because you have a tool available for an extra year.”
DiPel 2X DF, from Valent BioSciences LLC, is a leading biological insecticide that provides growers with a high-potency resistance management tool for proven control of Lepidoptera pests. It has low toxicity to beneficial insects, and causes targeted pests to immediately stop feeding, causing elimination within days of the application. DiPel is a dry flowable formulation that is easy to use and tank-mix compatible.
