Active ingredients: Group 14 (pyraflufen-ethyl), Group 4 (MCPA ester)
Rainfast: 1 hour
Treatment rate: 133 mL/acre, one case treats 160 acres, one drum treats 640 acres (contact local retailer to special order drums)

Benefits
- FASTER BURNDOWN ACTIVITY compared to Group 2 herbicides
- RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT tool with a Group 14 active ingredient that works well in combination with Group 4 chemistry on tough-to-kill weeds
- UNSURPASSED CROP SAFETY for registered crops
- Flexibility to move from pulses to cereals with one product
- Rapid and effective control of all types of herbicide-tolerant volunteer canola
- Controls Group 2-resistant weeds (kochia, cleavers, redroot pigweed), Group 4-resistant weeds (kochia) and glyphosate-resistant broadleaf weeds (kochia, volunteer canola)
Performance tips
- Tank-mix with 0.5-1.0 REL glyphosate
- Will not provide residual weed control
- GoldWing contains an active ingredient with contact type activity, so good spray coverage of emerged weeds is essential for exceptional control
Weed control challenge
Controlling Group 2 and Group 9 resistant weeds
There is a growing risk for the development of new glyphosate-resistant weeds in Western Canada. Volunteer canola and kochia populations may not be controlled by glyphosate alone. Growers need effective control options that will protect the viability of glyphosate and glyphosate-tolerant crops, with modes of action that do not include Group 2 chemistry.
Nufarm solution
GoldWing herbicide contains a Group 14 active (pyraflufen-ethyl) in a pre-formulation with a Group 4 ( MCPA ester) to control the toughest herbicide-resistant weeds in Western Canada. This product was developed to be added to glyphosate in a pre-seed burndown to control early season weeds in field peas, cereals, corn and canary seed.
