Nufarm appoints Rachel Palumbo to Executive Leadership Team

Nufarm Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Rachel Palumbo to the company’s Executive Leadership Team, effective immediately.
Ms Palumbo, Global General Manager Seeds, has been promoted as part of Nufarm’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capability to support execution of its Seed Technologies strategy. In her expanded role, she will lead Nufarm’s seeds business “to the farm gate”, from research and development through to the grower experience. This includes accountability for driving commercial performance, ensuring we continue to deliver value for growers today while building a strong and sustainable commercial future.
Ms Palumbo brings 20 years’ experience in agribusiness and currently leads global teams delivering innovative and commercially focused solutions for the agricultural sector. She is recognised for her strong customer focus, commercial leadership and ability to drive growth and transformation in complex markets. Ms Palumbo holds an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master’s degree in Communication from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
Nufarm Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Rico Christensen said the appointment strengthens the Executive Leadership Team as the company continues to focus on delivering for customers and growers.
“Rachel’s deep commercial expertise, strong customer focus and proven leadership make her ideally placed to lead our commercial seeds business through its next phase of execution and growth,” Mr Christensen said.
Ms Palumbo’s appointment supports Nufarm’s focus on clear leadership and accountability across its Seed Technologies operations.
