Bifecta® EZ is a new liquid pre-emergent residual herbicide with 2 unique modes of action that offers extended fall-applied residual activity on emerging spring broadleaf weeds for pulse and wheat growers.

Active ingredients: Group 5 (metribuzin), Group 14 (flumioxazin)
Application timing: Fall application only. Apply when soil temperature is at 10 degrees or less. 
Treatment area: One case (2 x 7.13L) treats 40 acres (at 357 mL/ac.)
Tank-mix order: Bifecta EZ, BlackHawk® (if used), glyphosate
Notes: Planting after herbicide application requires the use of minimum disturbance planting systems. Bifecta EZ requires moisture to activate in the soil and provides up to 8 weeks of residual control.

Performance tips

  1. Fall application – apply in the fall when soil temperatures fall to 10 °C or less,

  2. Recommended seeding depth following a Bifecta EZ application is 1-2 inches deep
  3. DO NOT incorporate after application or prior to seeding
  4. Leave a small checkstrip in the field to show performance
