Valtera® Cereals herbicide gives growers the flexibility and time they need at seeding by offering long-lasting, soil-active weed control when applied in the fall or early spring. With up to 8 weeks of residual protection, Valtera Cereals targets tough weeds like volunteer canola, cleavers, and kochia—so you can seed into cleaner fields and start the season strong.

Technical Information
Active Ingredients: Group 2 (florasulam), Group 14 (flumioxazin)
Rainfast: Rain required for soil activation. For burndown efficacy, avoid application if heavy rainfall is imminent
Treatment Area: 1 case (2 x 8L) treats 160 ac.
Application Timing: For fall application, apply as late as possible but prior to freeze up for any registered crop. Ideally when the soil temperature has dropped to below 10°C. Spring applications should be applied a minimum of 7 days prior to seeding wheat (spring, winter). Must be applied 30 days prior to seeding durum wheat.
Tank Mix Order: Valtera Cereals, BlackHawk® EVO (if used), glyphosate
Notes: Seeding after application requires the use of minimum to zero-tillage drills. Valtera Cereals herbicide requires moisture to activate in the soil.

1 emerged weeds only (2-4 leaf)
2 pre-emerge weeds only
Benefits:
- EARLY SEASON CONTROL helps eliminate broadleaf weed pressure in your wheat during critical weed periods
- EXTENDED SOIL ACTIVITY takes out multiple flushes of tough weeds for up to 8 weeks, giving you more freedom at seeding
- RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT TOOL that helps manage weeds on the Valtera Cereals product label that are resistant to Group 2-, 4- and glyphosate-resistant herbicides
- RE-CROPPING FLEXIBILITY – most crops not listed on the product label can be seeded 12 months after application
- Apply in fall or spring (check product label for specific crop registrations)
- Extended early season control for extra in-crop herbicide flexibility that helps to improve the efficacy of in-crop herbicide applications by targeting fewer, smaller weeds
- Yield potential is increased through early elimination of weed competition
Performance tips
- Flushing weeds – residual activity for newly emerging weeds giving you more time at seeding.
- Fall application – with a simple application in the fall when soil temperatures fall to 10°C or less, Valtera Cereals gives you significantly more flexibility & time for your spring weed management program
- Spring application – apply early spring prior to weeds germinating to maximize the benefits of Valtera a Cereals soil activity and give you more freedom at seeding.
- DO NOT incorporate after application or prior to seeding
