A broad spectrum insecticide, containing 200g/l acetamiprid in a liquid formulation, registered in OSR and cereals. Effective against both, chewing and sucking pests, via contact, systemic and translaminar action ensuring a high and long lasting efficacy.

With increasing resistance, especially to pyrethroid chemistry, Carnadine is the solution to establishing a resistance management strategy for these difficult to control pests.

"Nufarm are proud to bring Carnadine to the Irish market, offering a new and unique Insecticide formulation to Irish tillage growers"

A severe infection of Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus (BYDV),  can cause up to 60% loss in winter wheat and 50% loss in winter barley.
Reported yield losses from 1.3 t/ha – 2.7 t/ha due to BYDV.

Carnadine’s active ingredient has an alternative mode of action, this can be useful when ensuring that a resistance management strategy is in place when spraying.

The formulation comes in liquid form versus traditional powder and granule formulations.

This results in Carnadine being easier to mix and resulting in better user safety.

Aphid’s can be responsible for the transference of BYDV and the resultant yield losses that it brings.
