Our code of conduct brings our values to life and assists us to make the right decision by outlining minimum expectations of behaviour and demonstrating how to practically apply our values, policies, procedures and guidelines, ensuring accountability and deterring wrongdoing.

All employees are expected to support our efforts to progress the important environmental, social and governance issues we have identified through engagement with our stakeholders, including sustainable agricultural innovation, decarbonisation and climate change adaptation, employee and community safety, health and wellness, compliance and the regulatory environment, and product safety and stewardship. Employees must understand and comply with Nufarm’s sustainability and environment policies and procedures and the relevant environmental regulatory requirements in their jurisdiction and must always report any actual or potential environmental incidents.

Compliance is integral to our industry

We work in one of the most regulated industries with continually evolving social expectations, and it is essential that we implement processes that quickly respond to regulatory changes. We recognize that compliance with current regulations protects the community and environment and enables sustainable agricultural practices.

Our facilities aim to operate in accordance with their environmental licenses and undertake extensive monitoring to maintain compliance with their regulatory requirements. As licensed major hazard facility operators, we focus on the safe handling and processing of chemicals. Our process safety management program helps to identify and control hazards at our manufacturing sites.
