Nufarm receives EPA registrations for Mountain™ herbicide, a new standard for easy-handling grass control in wheat.
Morrisville, N.C. (November 5, 2026) – Nufarm Americas Inc. announced the availability of Mountain™ herbicide, an innovative flucarbazone-sodium formulation designed to deliver dependable grass and broadleaf weed control in wheat while improving tank mix performance and handling. It combines proven ALS inhibitor technology with a formulation developed for superior dispersion, flowability and storage stability.
Mountain is a Group 2 herbicide for use in spring and winter wheat. The formulation provides control of key grass weeds including wild oat, foxtails, barnyard grass, bromes and Italian ryegrass, as well as a range of troublesome broadleaf weeds. A wide application window allows use from one-leaf stage through 60 days pre-harvest.
Developed to address common mixing and handling frustrations associated with traditional flucarbazone products, Mountain offers excellent dispersion and solubility, strong tank-mix compatibility with many broadleaf herbicides and reliable flowability even after storage in cold temperatures.
