Scorch® EXT, powered by Nufarm-exclusive Duplosan® technology, is an innovative herbicide premix developed in response to the increasing threat of herbicide resistant kochia biotypes, including glyphosate, dicamba, 2,4-D and/or fluroxypyr resistant populations. As kochia control demand increases, Scorch EXT steps up where other options are failing while also delivering proven and versatile broad-spectrum weed control benefits. Scorch EXT has been granted a Special Local Need (SLN) 24(c) registration for Kansas and Montana in fallow and eco-fallow fields for kochia control.

Competitive Advantages

SLN 24(c) APPROVED USE

  • Kansas – to control emerged kochia (including populations resistant to 2,4-D, dicamba, fluroxypyr and herbicides in groups 2, 5 and 9, Canada thistle, common lambsquarters, palmer amaranth, Russian thistle, tansy mustard, and wild mustard in fallow or eco-fallow field
  • Montana – to control emerged kochia (including populations resistant to 2,4-D, dicamba, fluroxypyr and herbicides in groups 2, 5 and 9, Canada thistle, common lambsquarters, Russian thistle, tansy mustard, and wild mustard in fallow or eco-fallow field

KOCHIA MANAGEMENT

  • Powered by Duplosan, a unique dichlorprop-p active ingredient
  • Optimized control of kochia where glyphosate, 2,4-D, dicamba, and/or fluroxypyr-resistant kochia is a threat
  • Enhanced formulation of three active ingredients offers systemic activity for control of multiple broadleaf weeds
  • Compatibility with K-salt glyphosate and other products for increased convenience
  • When combined with dicamba and 2,4-D, dichlorprop-p enhances the activity and spectrum of these proven active ingredients
